City Kayak provides rental equipment, facility, and knowledge about the area. We have kayaks that are stable and unsinkable. Performance kayaks are available for experts too. Provided wetsuits are comfortable and rated for kayaking in the San Francisco Bay. Simply speaking, we make sure that you have a good time kayaking in San Francisco!

• 1 Hour Minimum Rental is Required
• Sit-on-top kayaks are available for rental. Reentry certificate is required for touring kayak
• Our Single Kayaks can carry up to 200 lbs
• Our Double Kayaks can carry up to 550 lbs

Inclusions: Hour Minimum Rental. Rental includes: Kayak, Life Jacket, Paddle, Dry Bag, Wetsuit or Paddling Jacket and Splash Pants.

What to Bring: Change of clothes, extra shoes, bottled water, and cell phone in a waterproof pouch. Additionally consider: water resistant jacket and pants, sunglasses, sunblock, moisture wicking layer, hat, gloves, towel, and camera in a zip lock bag or waterproof pouch. Change Facility/Restroom is available on site.

Safety: Having a buddy on the water is a good practice. First time paddler must have a buddy on the water.

Rental Restrictions: Rental area is limited based on the condition, paddler's ability, weather, etc. Each person should be able to swim 25ft with a life jacket. If you do not have a previous paddling experience, you must have a buddy on the water. Each child (under age 14) should be with a guardian on a double kayak. Youth under 18 need a paddling buddy and guardian's signature on a waiver form.

If you are not sure about your friend's paddling ability, join a guided trip or rental session. It includes everything for a great first day in kayaking.

Parking:

We We recommend public transit if you are traveling within the city districts. Taxi, bus, bike, or Muni are convenient ways to get around the city. However, for those arriving by car, here are a few tips on parking in and around South Beach Harbor:

• Parking policy at the harbor change frequently due to special events at the AT&T Park. Drive in to City Kayak and ask about best place to park.

• South Beach Harbor usually sells parking permits at the harbor office. The harbor parking may be full on popular weekends.

• There are street and paid parking nearby.

 

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 48hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
