I took a group on this tour for a company outing and overall, we had a good time. I was a little worried at first that some people might get sea-sick, but everyone was fine. The staff was great. The captain and crew were friendly and accommodating. It was a little chilly and we were offered and given jackets and blankets. The beverages were delicous. Captain of the Privateer, Miguel was great! Deck crew Erik had a fun personality and we felt safe and taken care of the whole time. Easy and fun trip, perfect amount of time on the water and stunning views of the city. Great idea for a group trip. The day was very warm in the city but the boat ride was chilly for some when we hit the bay winds. Take heed to have layers along. We were lucky in that it was one of the most gorgeous days in SF to be out on the Bay. Fortunately/Unfortunately, the winds were too light to keep the sails up but then again, it meant that it was a smooth ride and I didn't get sick as I normally would in choppy waters. This was my first experience on a sailboat, and it was enjoyable. The captain was well trained and personable. We had some difficulty finding the dock from which to sail. I would also recommend that the website caution tourists that sailing on the bay can be cold and they need to dress accordingly. Layers are good, it often ranges from 55-85 degrees in the same trip. Tank tops and shorts are appropriate with pants, fleece, and windbreakers on top.
Footware:

Tennis shoes with Non marking and rubber soles are encouraged. Some dress shoes may have to come off if they mark up the boat to much. For women: No sharp heels, stillettos and such are not allowed. Women should shy away from heels in general but short heels work as long as they are wide and soft.

Payment:
Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.
Confirmation & Travel Voucher:
This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.
Cancellation and No Show Policy:
Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
