Riders under 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian on the tour. No refunds for any member of your party if you do not meet these criteria. This activity is not recommended for guests age 70 and up.

For rider safety please no flip flops, sandals or high heel shoes.

The Double Decker All Loops Ticket is good for 2 days for any available departure and does not require advance reservations.

 

Segway Tour Departure Location:

Segway Tours depart from the rear parking lot at 757 Beach Street near the corner of Hyde Street. Located across Beach Street from the Hyde Street Cable Car turn around in Fisherman's Wharf. A Wells Fargo Bank ATM is at the entrance to our training area. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Detailed directions and maps of the meeting location will be provided upon confirmation of your Segway Tour.

Who can ride a Segway? Are Segways safe for children or people with disabilities?

Riding a Segway is similar to riding a bike-it's intuitive but nobody is born knowing how to operate it. That's why the tour includes 40-45 minutes (estimated) of training so you can get familiar with riding a Segway.

Rider Requirements:

Segway riding is not recommended for pregnant women. Unfortunately, pregnant women will not be permitted to participate.

All guests must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without any assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance or use of a handrail. You will be standing for 2 hours.

A Segway is not an ideal mode of touring for people with some mobility issues. You will be standing for 2 Hours. Please call if you have questions. This activity is not recommended for guests age 70 and up.

The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds (46-113 kilos.) Helmets and reflective vests are provided and required.

 

We do require that all riders be at least 12 years old.

Riders under 18 must be accompanied on the tour by a parent or guardian.

DOUBLE DECKER DEPARTURE LOCATION:

Fisherman's Wharf: Ticket Office at 2800 Leavenworth Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 between Jefferson and Beach Streets.

Parking: Paid parking and limited metered parking are available in The Fisherman's Wharf Area. For guests that are driving we recommend driving to Fisherman's Wharf to meet the tour and not to Union Square.

Handicap Accessibility: Buses are not handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs and motorized chairs cannot be accommodated on the buses.

 

Payment:

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Changes or Cancellation and No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged are fully refundable. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Liability Agreement:

All customers will be required to review and sign our tour agreement and liability waiver before starting their tour. The Sausalito Electric Tour Company assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond control, in addition to insufficient numbers of guests. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Tour Size, Routing and Weather:

We reserve the right to change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. The Bay Area is famous for the fog! Our tours run fog, light rain or shine. We always suggest multiple layers of warm clothing for any outdoor activity. Summer afternoon temperatures can be in the 50's. Rain gear is available for those infrequent rainy days. Segways are designed to run in any weather. If seasonal fog or weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered. You will not be charged if we cancel a tour.

Meals Souvenirs and Miscellaneous Costs:

Tour prices do not include Meals, Beverages, Admission Fees, Ferry Tolls or Souvenirs.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.

Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
