A great trip that topped my expectations. We first stopped 0.5H in Davenport, where you can buy both brunch as well as something to eat for later on. That will come in handy if you like me spend all time in Monterey (2H) at the aquarium, which is pretty crowded on Saturdays. Stops at the golf courses were short, which suited me fine. As expected everything was very expensive at Pebble Beach.
In Carmel the beach is well worth a visit, and you might be able to catch an amazing sun-down. But there's no fast food in Carmel, so either bring a pick-nick or reserve at least half of the total time there (1.5H) for dinner. The driver / tour guide, DJ, was an amazing story teller and very knowledgeable. He kept us fully entertained during the long trip, which may end up being rather 13-14H than advertised 11H due to hotel pick-ups etc.Per S., Finland, 09-2010
Doug, the tour guide was brilliant. He made so many viewing stops and provided so much information we were worried about that here was going to be a pop-quiz after the tour. Cancellation Policy:ÂCancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
