Come Experience Golden Gate Park as your glide on the New Segway i2 with Lean Steer Technology. We offer fully guided tours with experienced and fun tour guides. Your guide will narrate your tour through a compact single earbud sound system. We use a combination of designated trails, bike paths and low speed-light traffic streets to conduct the guided tour of the Park.

Golden Gate Park is larger than New York's Central Park and once consisted of sand dunes that are now covered with more than 75,000 trees. Each guest receives hands-on training with an instructor, test ride, skills practice, rider courtesy instruction and review of our Golden Gate Park rules of the road and rider courtesy agreement.

After a 30-35 minute training on how to safely operate the Segway, you'll explore the sights of Golden Gate Park for two hours! Segway Riders will explore 8 miles of the Eastern part of Golden Gate Park which covers both the famous landmarks and many hidden and less explored areas.

Segway Requirements:

• Riders must be age 12 and older and weigh between 100 - 250lbs (45 to 115 kilos). Riders 12 - 17 years of age must be accompanied on tour by a parent or guardian.

• Segway Tour is Not Recommended for anyone over the age of 70 years or for guests with some mobility issues. Pleae call before booking to discuss. Pregnant women will not be allowed to participate in Segway Tour for safety reasons. No refunds for any member of your party if you do not meet these criteria.

DEPARTURE DATES:

• April - October; Daily at 9:00am, 12:30pm & 4;00pm

• Closed December 25th, January 1st and during major public events in the Park.

DEPARTURE LOCATION:

Tours start at the Golden Gate Park Music Concourse Area. Guests are to meet in the paved area directly behind the Sprekels Temple of Music (stage) and across the street from the main entrance to the Japanese Tea Gardens located at lot at 7 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and start your tour and training on time.

PAID GARAGE & ON STREET PARKING:

• Paid garage parking is available at the Music Concourse Garage. The Music Concourse is located between the deYoung Museum and the California Academy of Science. Click Here for Info & Rates

• Please note that John F. Kennedy Drive is closed on Sundays from Transverse Drive to McLaren Lodge. John F. Kennedy Drive is also closed to traffic on Saturdays from Tea Garden Drive to Transverse Drive April through September.

Your credit card will be charged the total amount of products and services selected at the time of booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Cards.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

IF YOU ARE LATE YOU WILL LOOSE YOUR RESERVATION Plan ahead - parking , driving times, public transit delays and traffic are always an issue: Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time to check in and start your tour and training on time! If you arrive late we will NOT let you join a tour group that has already started training and your reservation will be forfeited without a refund or reschedule. NO EXCEPTIONS

Cancellation, Changes & No Show Policy:

Cancellations within 72 hours of the tour are charged in full. Changes must be made 72 hours prior to tour date. Cancellations prior to 72 hours are fully refunded. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Requirements: Riders Must

Be age 12 and older and weigh between 100 - 250lbs (45 to 115 kilos). Riders 12 - 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All Riders will be required to sign a waiver of liability. Riders 12 - 17yrs of age must have parent or guardian sign consent form.

Complete the Segway rider training and test ride. Wear the helmet and any safety gear that is provided with the tour. Respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe enjoyable ride. Flip-flops, open-toe sandals, or high heels are not to be worn for this tour.

Be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway without assistance, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail. Riders will be standing for the entire length of the tour while on the Segway.

NOTE: Segway Tour is Not Recommended for anyone over the age of 70 years. Pregnant women will not be allowed to participate in Segway Tour for saftey reasons. Riders are responsible for all damage to equipment and will be required to pay damage fees as assessed by a company manager.

Liability Agreement:

All customers will be required to review and sign our tour agreement and liability waiver before starting their tour. The San Francisco Electric Tour Company assumes no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, bad conditions of the road and other conditions beyond our control, in addition to insufficient numbers of guests. Not responsible for loss or damage to property.

Company Reserves the Right to:

Change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. Tours run fog, light rain or shine. Company suggests bringing dressing appropriately for weather condtions. Segways are designed to run in any weather. Routes may vary dependent on participants interests, time available and street openings.

Cancel any tour due to weather or other unforseen circumstances. Refuse participation to anyone who, in the opinion of a company representative, is incapable or unable to safely ride a segway.

Comfortable shoes, extra layer of warm clothing, hats, visors and sunglasses. Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions. Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
