Champagne Flight:

A premium tour for that special occasion. as you sip your champagne and watch the beautiful views, this romantic flight cruises north over the lakes of mount tamalpais then down the coast and over the golden gate bridge, arriving over san francisco. you'll then head back to the seaplane base, passing between sausalito and the tiburon-belvedere peninsula. the flight lasts 35 minutes. this flight is only available from our sausalito location. Reservations are strongly recommended for this flight.

Departure Point:

Sausalito: For Champagne flights all departures are from The Seaplane main office located just off the Stinson Beach/Mill Valley exit off Highway 101, just 5 minutes North of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. You will be able to see the Seaplane from the highway.

About San Francisco Seaplane:

The seaplane base in Sausalito has been in continuous operation since 1945. Over the years it has been used as a training base for seaplane pilots, a departure point for scheduled seaplane flights to Lake Tahoe, a departure point for commuter helicopter flights to SFO, and of course, for sightseeing. It is ideally suited for sightseeing flights of San Francisco and its beautiful surroundings… easily reached from San Francisco, and by anyone traveling along Highway 101.

In 1994, San Francisco Seaplane Tours opened a second base in San Francisco, at Pier 39. For this operation, they brought in the ultimate Alaskan-style bush plane: a deHavilland Beaver. With its big radial engine, 8 seats, and sightseeing windows, the Beaver is in a class by itself among seaplanes.

Flights are offered using either the DeHavilland Beaver or the Cessna 180 Seaplane.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations must be placed 24 hours prior to event, cancellations within 24 hours are charged a per person $10.00 administrative fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, you will be refunded.
