The original Open-Top Double-Decker Tour of San Francisco! See the sights from the top deck of an original London Bus. The view is unlimited from the top deck as we explore the beautiful city of San Francisco. Our double-decker buses have an open upper deck, with no roof and shallow sides. These are very popular for sightseeing tours of cities such as San Francisco. 

The fully narrated loops are approximately 90 minutes each. Your ticket is valid for 2 consecutive days of Hop On Hop Off Downtown Loop and any one of the departure times, within the 2 consecutive days, for the Golden Gate Loop Tour, from the time you start, so explore at your own pace!

San Francisco Downtown Hop On Hop Off Loop: 

Daily: Every 30 minutes from 9:30am - 5:00pm

This 90 Minute Loop shows you all the highlights of the city. Enjoy an entirely live narrated tour of San Francisco's most famous sites. Highlights include Union Square, Financial District, Chinatown, Northbeach, City Hall, Lombard Street and much more. Your ticket includes unlimited Hop On and Off privileges at any of the designated stops during the tour to browse, shop and take pictures. Use our Double Decker Route Map to plan and navigate your downtown stops.  

Golden Gate Loop:

Daily at 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 4:00pm 

The 90 Minute Loop visits one the world's most famous Landmarks, The Golden Gate Bridge, with live narration from one of our professional guides. Departing from Fisherman's Wharf this tours heads to The Palace of Fine Arts for a  brief photo stop. From here, it continues through the Presidio with beautiful views of the Bay, The Golden Gate Bridge and Crissy Fields. Then we cross the 1.7 mile span of the Golden Gate Bridge. From the top deck, you'll have unobstructed views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, Marin Headlands, The Pacific Ocean and San Francisco's skyline. A stop is made at the Northern End of The Golden Gate Bridge at The North Vista Point for photo oppurtunities. This tour is not a hop on hop off loop.

Departure Point:

Vouchers must be redeemed at 2800 Leavenworth Street, between Jefferson and Beach Streets, San Francisco, CA 94133. Located in The Fisherman's Wharf Area.  Once redeemed for tickets, start exploring over 2 Consecutive Days. Each guest receives a route map, useful for navigating stops. Alternate Departure Location: 

Guest may board the Downtown Double Decker Bus at Union Square under these conditions:  The driver will allow you to board the bus with your printed E-ticket Voucher. The driver will not collect your E-ticket.  Guests are asked to disembark the bus at the Fisherman's Wharf Stop, 2800 Leavenworth Street, and exchange their voucher at the tour office for the actual tickets, which will allow 2 day use.  Simply wait for the next bus, leaving every 30 minutes, to continue your loop or tour.  Meet the double decker bus in front of Macy's on the Geary Street Side. This is convenient for guest staying in Downtown Hotels.

Paid parking and limited metered parking are available in The Fisherman's Wharf Area.

Handicap Accessibility:

Buses are not handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs and motorized chairs cannot be accommodated on the buses.

Hotel Pickup:

Hotel pick up is not available.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

You will receive an immediate confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on your home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Cancellation Policy:

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. In the event the tour is canceled by City Sightseeing, the ticket price will refunded. Voucher is valid for redemption up to the end of the current year.

Comfortable shoes and a extra layer of warm clothing are recommended for all tours in San Francisco. If seasonal fog obscures the view, tour route may be altered. Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs and entrance fees to attractions are not included.
