Giant Redwoods in Muir Woods National Park and Sausalito Tour

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge, and after you motor through the "Rainbow Tunnels" on Hwy. 101, Marin’s unique topography comes into view. Tidal flats along the bay segue into gentle undulating hills
as they rise to meet Mt. Tamalpais, Marin’s 2,600-foot landmark. As your tour ascends Mt. Tam, breathtaking views abound at every turn.

Descending into the valley toward Muir Woods, you will see a landscape that hasn’t changed since its original inhabitants, the Coast Miwok Indians, lived here centuries ago. You will have 1.20 hours to Spend in Muir Woods, the most time offered on any sightseeing tour program. There will be ample time to stroll the Nature Trail along picturesque Redwood Creek, and through Cathedral and Bohemian Groves, filled with 500 to 800-year-old redwoods. Be sure to stop at the Visitors Center and Gift Shop.

The next stop on your tour is beautiful Sausalito, a Mediterranean-like community with elegant hillside homes facing the bay and a unique colony of floating homes moored along the waterfront. You will have time to stroll Downtown Sausalito, a National Historical Landmark District offering many fine shops, galleries and restaurants.  Return to San Francisco via the Golden Gate Bridge and through San Francisco’s Marina District. Guests who wish to remain in Sausalito and not return with the tour can do so and return to San Francisco via Ferry Service.

Departure Location:

Guest are asked to meet at The Sightseeing Ticket Office at 2627 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 located at the corner of Taylor and North Point in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. There is ample paid parking lots and very limited metered street parking is available. Guests should meet at this address 15 minutes prior to departure.

Complimentary Hotel Pickup:

Return via Ferry From Sausalito:

Guests will have the option to stay in Sausalito and not return to San Francisco with the motorcoach tour. Guests that remain in San Francisco can return via a 30 minute Ferry and experience spectacular views of The Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands and The San Francisco City Skyline. Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.

Supplier and Tourcorp assume no responsibility for delays caused by accidents, breakdown, weather, conditions of trails, roads, bays, oceans, rivers, airspace and any other conditions beyond control of Supplier, in addition to insufficient numbers of passengers.
