If you are planning what time of year to go, this might help: Waterfalls are strongest in late winter, springtime and early summer. The weather is warmest between May and October. The rock formations and cliffs are arguably at their most beautiful when snow covered in winter and springtime. The best time of year for spotting rock climbers is between May and October.

With more than 1,000 square miles of trees, hiking, rivers, and lakes, Yosemite Valley offers one of the most unique and tranquil experiences you could possibly imagine. Enjoy a relaxing stroll past spectacular views, your single-day Yosemite vacation is designed to show you the best of the park and its surroundings. This full day tour includes over 5 hours inside Yosemite National Park. Lunch is not included included in your tour price. There are numerous spots to purchase lunch while you are in Yosemite Valley.

Leaving San Francisco at 7:45am - 8:00am we travel to the Great Central Valley and into the Sierra Foothills where the Forty-Niners panned for gold. Follow the beautiful Merced River to the Sierra Nevada Mountains.Glaciers cut through these mountains forming the spectacular granite monuments you will see throughout the park.

Shortly after passing Altamont Pass, the vast expanse of the San Joaquin Valley comes in to view. A convenient rest stop is scheduled for 10:00am near restaurants and stores. By 11:00 a.m. we'll be in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range at Mariposa, a charming town with a unique blending of past and present. The entrance to Yosemite Park and Yosemite Valley is via Arch Rock on Highway 140.

Yosemite Valley Sights tour is conducted by your driver/guide. With magnificent views of the mountains, valley and waterfalls all around, Yosemite Valley is seven miles long, a mile wide and 4,000 feet elevation. We'll drive to Tunnel View where you can see most of Yosemite Valley including El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall and Half Dome. Driving on the south side of the Merced River, you'll see the Three Brothers, Sentinel Rock, Yosemite falls and meadows.

The valley tour includes stops at the famous Half Dome, Cathedral Rocks and the 3500 ft El Capitan. El Capitan is a favorite rock climbing location for experts from around the world. Yosemite Falls is one of the most famous of the falls and is just a few minutes walk from Yosemite Lodge. Yosemite is home to North America's five highest waterfalls including, Yosemite Falls, Ribbon Falls and Sentinel Falls.

Return trip to San Francisco. The coach departs at approximately 5:00pm from Yosemite. Leaving the Park, we travel west on Highway 140 stopping in El Portal. Continue via Mariposa and Merced. Mid-way at 15 minute stop is scheduled. Arrival time to San Francisco is approximately 8:30pm - 9:00pm.

Guest are asked to meet at The Sightseeing Ticket Office at 2627 Taylor Street, San Francisco, CA 94133 located at the corner of Taylor and North Point in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf. There is ample paid parking lots and very limited metered street parking is available. Guests should meet at this address 15 minutes prior to departure.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

This tour must be booked at least 24hrs in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12-24 hours subject to availability. You will receive a confirmation email with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher. Print this voucher on you home/office printer and present SIGNED voucher at departure location. Only one voucher will be created per tour or activity for all travelers.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations within 48 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 48 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge 100% for No Shows. If the tour is cancelled by the tour operator, the full ticket price will be refunded.
